I woke up to a white blanket of snow this morning, really only a dusting, but around our place we’re happy for the little we do get.
Even with only a few inches on the ground, snow transforms the common dull color of winter.
It also reveals things…
Walking past the barn I saw my white donkey…or what I thought was white…but wow, compared to the pure snow he looked filthy!
Except, unlike snow here in Missouri, that is sure to disappear in a few days…Jesus is right here all the time. His Spirit is living inside me! And what’s even better…He longs for me to be just as white as He is and helps me to daily attain that purity.
"Purge me with hyssop,
and I shall be clean:
wash me, and I shall be
whiter than snow."
Psa 51:7
Thank you Whitney that was so encouraging. I want to be as white as snow too! It is easy to forget that when we become distracted by other things! I am so blessed to have a wonderful Father who forgives and is so merciful! I am also blessed to have a sister (in Christ) to encourage me in these things, thank you for being such a blessing to me in the area's I need to work on! I love you, Whitney! Make the Father continue what he is doing in you!
